Great find and thanks!

The interactive manual I linked to is from the international MB site. Having said that, I did go to MBUSA to see if they link to a different one, and they have all of those links locked up behind the owners login ... so if you have one of those, log into the site and see if they link to a different one.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

completely useless info, but try it and see if you can get it that slow, hahaaha. 1 mph doesn't exist.

Vehicle Data can be obtained from the vehicles computer by closing door, selecting key to first position,& pushing phone answer & OK button together.
Then choose Vehicle Data & the vehicle amps & volts are displayed, This could possibly be useful if one is experiencing electrical problems.By scrolling down the list Vin & Engine numbers are also displayed. There are some information here that I do not understand. I would be grateful of enlightenment. Carsy.
(1.) Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
(2.) Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
(3.) Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
(4.) Wait at least two minutes for TCU to reset.
I never smoke in my car--just once, frustrated and in anger, on my drive home after the accident--because I like my car too much. But I do appreciate the ashtray. Dunno, I kinda feel like M-B is lookin out for "second-class citizens" like myself.

I'm gonna go try popping out the back ashtray right now. I didn't even know I had one.

I might've said this before, but I love karmann ghias, stick girl... classic shape. Love it, always wanted one.

I didn't have the little cigarette stub (the thing that snuffs it out) in my way so I could maximize the space. I do keep it closed but I wish that I could do other things with it. I've put coins in there only to get my finger caught underneath that stub thing. I hear ya on the 2nd class citizen thing...I just wish that there was an option. And I didn't know there was one in the rear either...
Funny you should mention the Ghia...I sold it about 2 weeks ago. I bought it from someone near Berekely about 7 years ago. It still had the classic blue and yellow Cali tags, too. Going to school and working, I just didn't have the time to dedicate to the restoration project that I wanted to do on it. I really didn't want to get rid of her, but I am confident that she is with good owners - retired folks who want to dress her up and show her around.
Did someone already mention the button in the trunk that will let you out if ever you get stuck in there? It's supposed to stay lit for 30 seconds after the door closes, but I don't wanna test it out and confirm.
I just read that in the manual while searching for M-B recommended tire pressures for 100+ MPH. There was a thread about that. Still no qualified, official answer.
That'll be me one day, if there are any left in, say, twenty years.
