Sorry, these cars still don't impress me. They photograph very well, but in person they are a let down to me. Yes the gullwing style doors are pretty cool and the seriously wide hood is quite nice, but for the average person its tough to tell the difference between the SLR and a SL with SLR knock off wheels. Not to mention its roughly the same size as a Vette..and a stock Z06 gives you identical performance for almost 400k less. But it is much rarer than a Z06 and thats what your paying for after all. I'm crazy I'd drop the $400k on a Maybach 57S instead of an SLR, but thats just me.

Don't even know what chilledbenz is talking about.

That would have made my day seeing those cars. I don't see too many nice cars living in Indianapolis...I about freaked when I saw an SL63 last week.
Congrats on the blessing to your eyes though! Ha.

SLR is Bleh to be honest. IMO, I personaly think the car doesnt have interior that belongs to a $400k car, rear end of the car sucks, the stance itself doesn't seem like it should have the title of Supercar. Yes the car is fast and well built but not my taste. Out of all supercars, I personally think Maserati MC12 is the proper supercar. Everyone has different opinions though.

The MC12 is just an Enzo in drag.

Agree. Saw two different SLR's from different dealerships and I was totally unimpressed as a $400K car. the front looks a bit dated and the rear doesn't really do anything for me.
