Hmm I'm definitely liking that tint...not too dark and not too light.

LOL.
That's always my big concern when tinting windows.

almost seems like it's not tinted at all. Though it does flow well with the car

I had mine tinted 50 on the front and 35 on the rear. I like the way the 50 looks all around.

Our is 20% all around and none on the front. I like the barely shaded look.

Looks Great

I had mine tinted 50% as well.

I'm unhappy with the back window though.

When driving at night headlights from behind hit the defrost bars and the light scatters accross my whole window.

Has anyone else had this problem with tint on the back window?

I think 50% is not dark enough. I guess it depends where you live, like it California where you get plenty of sun, a darker tint might be better.

And this happened only after the tinting? I'm guessing you see a bright flood of light in the back? This sounds like a safety issue. What kind of film did you use, and where did you get it done?

The crappy thing is when the tint people came out, they showed me their tint guide and their 50% looked way too light, which is why I went with the 35%...should have stuck to my gut! From now on, 50 or higher for me!

It looks clean, but it is too light for my tastes...glad I went with 20% all around...keeps it cooler too. This Atlanta heat is nuts right now.

Yes..this is due to the fact that the defroser bars are slightly raised and create a concave surface that refracts the light. I was very disappointed at first after having mine done, but am now used to it. I read that many folks that tint the back window have this issue, so I didn't panic. It actually does not bother me that much...and since mine is 20%, it keeps the headlights from glaring in my back window.

Give it time.....

Also note that MB windows do not come 100% clear. They come from the factory with a very light tint, making them roughly 90% to begin with, so once you add a 35% tint it becomes, in reality, a 25%-ish tint, and his 50% tint is really closer to 40%.
