Just got the pillars. Pretty good quality imo. Still not sure I want to stick em on, but I'll lay them on top and take some pics and let you all be the judge.

From my understanding, the apoxy they use to bind CF together degrades under UV light...

How do they look when you lay them on? In your opinion. These things tend to always look better in person then pics.

I'll get to it when I get home from work. The delivery guy like just dropped them off on my way back to work from lunch, so only had time to quickly open and examine them. I'll post pics and give my feedback when I get home and can devote more time to them.

Here are some pictures I took of me holding the pieces on. From a distance, it looks pretty black, but as you come closer, you'll slowly notice it's CF. Actually looked pretty good and in no way distracted from the car because of how subtle the difference is between CF and black from a distance. Very thin which is nice and perfectly cut. Anyways, I'll let you all be the judge. Yay or Nay?

Wonder how it will look on a Palladium or Iridium Silver car?

Micro, are you going for it? You have a black car, right?

I'm waiting on mine and I have a black car. Hopefully before the end of the week. BTW I think it looks good on the white but then again I love the look of CF.

Thought mod corny.
Saw the pics.
Now almost convinced.

What convinced me is Azn-C300's comment that the pillars look black from far away, but as one approaches the car, the carbon fiber becomes evident. I always love that kind of car mods: the "not so obvious until up close and personal" mod.

The only thing holding me back is the fact that my car spends 85% of its life outside in the hot California sun. I wonder how resistant to yellowing these pieces are. How are they attached to the pillars? Just 3M tape? Can they be easily removed without damage if they become ugly after a while?

The whole back of the CF plate is covered in the 3M tape that looks custom cut, not cheapo strategically placed tape. This might make it harder to remove, but I believe the heat up and dental floss method will probably still work as it does with all 3M tape. Like all things physical, it'll probably degrade over time, but this looks like quality work to me so will hopefully hold up well. Worse case you can always remove it and clean up your original black if it does fade, or replace it with another CF cover. I just love how the CF seems to move and ripple with how the sun shines on it.

Does it look better in person then on pics? Did you decide whether your going to stick them on?

I think they look better in person. You can tell they weren't shy about the clear coat and it's pretty glossy. I'll probably end up sticking them on. Who knows. Maybe my mood with change and next week I'll pull em off. From what it looks like, removing shouldn't damage the original pillar. Might need to clean it up to remove left over sticky residue, but should be ok. I'm waiting for the CF mirror covers also from the same maker before I put it on. Then it's just the EuroTek CF lip and diffuser and I'll be done with the CF exterior. It's pretty subtle which I like and if you do a sweep across from front to back, it won't draw the eye. Getting my windows tinted probably 20% (or maybe just 5% limo) week after in a couple weeks when I head down to OC so hoping it'll look even better with dark windows.

If you want, I can take more pics when I get home today with the pieces indoor so you won't see the sun glare.

Pics indoors would be awsome. Do you know if that guy selling the CF pillers is going to sell the CF mirrors on ebay?

Haven't seen the mirrors on ebay, but check out

Post #25. It's from the same maker. I ordered the mirrors through him.
