Brand new C350 paint already starting to peel off
I got my C350 three weeks ago and when parking I scratched the underneath of the front apron against the sidewall. I got out of my car and checked it and it seems like big pieces of paint are peeling off. I wonder if it is because the front bumper is plastic or what the heck. I’m so disappointed after spending around $42 k I expect a very quality of paint o whatever the reason is. Has this happened to anyone else besides me?

Weird. No problems here, actually I'm very impressed with my paint with the abuse it has seen. But I do wash it like twice a week haha. I did get a big scratch under the front bumper a month ago but I used some touch up paint and now I can't even see it anymore.

On one hand I'd say get it looked at at a body shop, but since your car is so new, a trip to the dealer might be in order, and maybe you might be able to get something warranty related out of it.
Then again, since you did the initial scratch, they might just want to give you a big fat estimate.
No matter what, it needs to get fixed, as flaking paint and body work being exposed is not good, and it will only get worse. This is worth spending money on and getting it fixed if you have to. Make sure it's factory quality work only, not cheap paint repair.

It's not the car's fault.
