So I walked to my car this morning and the two upper corners of the roof spoiler are lifted about 1cm each. I aplied pressure again and they sticked back. Lets see if it happens again.

Bokx same here when i went on break one side was up just push it down and back to normal. its under close watch right now.

Did you clean the area real good with alcohol? There is also a chemical that accelerates the bonding with the 3M tape I used it once a long time ago any auto body supply shop should have it.

i used lysol wipes to clean my window and some water and paper towels after. spoiler holding fine for 48 hours so far.

cleaned the window real good with Invisible Glass. The car was parked underneath the sun.

put a couple dictionaries on either side overnight.

btw, after clearing up the missing paint spots with some touchup paint, looks good again. The bumps can only be seen if under very close examination, so should be ok. putting it on tonight probably.

re did my tape on my roof spoiler that **** keeps poping up so i had to get some 3M super sticky double sided tape. its looking good right now plus its tape down till tomorrow morning.

I took your advise with rubbing alcohol and it worked like a charm! Been a week with no issue here on 3M.

Should be good now I had 3M on and been on for a week without any dictionaries. Doing over 65 throughout the week with nothing popping up. That's what you get for telling me to move my spoiler up

who8888 same here i had to peel away the old tape and applied sticky 3m tape right now it is still bonding like a champ driving 80 with no pop ups from a close range it gives it a diffrent look to the car.

To those about to start... alcohol is the way to go. It is to remove grease/oil/silicone/wax - some of the other things listed may not remove all that, caveat emptor. Looks good everone, I'm doing mine this weekend after I get proper 3m VHB tape on there.

Man, that roof spoiler isnt good.... since we have the Roof spoiler the number off alcoholics grows in the US

you missed the bus tho. not much we can do about it. either you take taxi (ebay) or wait till next bus come.
