OT: Saw a GLK Prototype / Test Vehicle in Denver Today
I was driving to work when I saw, coming the other way on South Colorado Blvd. in Denver, a silver GLK test mule. I was able to turn around in time to catch up to it and see it pull into the Murray Mercedes service department. It had Michigan tags and had the word(s) WerksWagen on the right side of the hatch.
Even though it had some trim missing, etc., I do have to say that it looked better in person than what I've seen in photos. I didn't care for it in the photos. It definitely didn't seem so outrageously overstyled in person. I was hoping to hear the engine so I could tell if they were altitude testing the new turbo-diesel with our US diesel fuel. But no luck. It was immediately whisked away once it hit the service department.
