MBUSA has updated their site with the 2009 C350 specs...
So who knows when we'll actually get the new engine...
But until then I guess I'll just enjoy my 2009 (when it comes in)...

That is a real bummer!! I have an '09 on order as well and really had hoped that they would up the engine power due to the market standard being around 300 hp for the cars that the C350 targets (335, IS350, G35, etc). I have to believe that the 3.5 has some unlocked power there that could have been tapped fairly easily by MB. The engine is the only area the gives me any pause with the car. I know that you can rarely use the power increase due to traffic, but it would have been nice to be able to beat an Accord at the stoplight if you wanted too.

2008 C350
MB puts more research and expense into structural design and performance giving you a more solid all around car. Anyone can drop a big engine in a car and raise the price.

lol I meant it'd sell more than it does now. Don't get all defensive, I never said MB isn't doing their job.

C300 Sport/Palladium Silver on Black/P2
I agree they'd sell a lot more C350s and it would be a better competitor to the competition, but perhaps they are holding that in their pocket, for when the model gets a little more aged, bring that out, to spike things up again.

As of today, the General Overview page for the C class has the highway and city mpg numbers reversed.
The new 2009 C300 sport gets 18 highway and 26 city ... don't we wish for that second number!

Perhaps late 2009 or 2010 model will see 300hp. That will be the day when all the moons align and the story goes in the right direction in 335 v. C350 land.

09 Huge Price Increase?
Um, don't know if anyone else noticed, but the base price of the C350 is now over 39,000. The base on the 08 was 36,900. Is this an error? Seems like a huge jump for not much more equipment (memory seats/compass/power tilt/telescoping wheel).
