Saying Hi, Joining you soon
New to this forum. I will be picking up a new C350 Arctic White, Panaramic, Multimedia, P2 package and the end of this month. Will be tinting with 30% ceramic and also full nose clear bra. The car has gray/black MB tex. Any opinions on the tinting from those that have tinted their C's already? Would 20% on the rear doors and 30% on the fronts look good?
Thanks for the info, sad to see my 63 go, kids, wife, you know the story.
BTW- It's for sale. If any one is interested see some of my other posts for pics and audio/radar/laser jammer installed.

Yeah I thought about that too. It looked like base price onthe C63 plus all the adds would come out around $1250 or so, if my math is right. Tired of $1785 a month and can drop to $678/month. That $1100 difference. I drive 55 miles a day to work and back so no lease either for me. Believe me, I'm going through the paces, I went from C55 to CLK63 now to C350. But later on as the practice grows more.....SLxx?

Is the practice a law practice?? How old are you? Congrats on joining us. Sorry you had to let the ///AMG go. I'm going to law school next fall looking to form an MB/J.D. alliance haha. Let me know!

nice choice of color
i did 35% DYE. i like dye (they have come a long way) because it has a more black look to it, versus greenish hue.
I didnt want trouble with the cops so i went lighter, but i think it looks good and is a good contrast from the white!

Building up a medical practice on the coast of NC. Was in the corporate world and bigger money but more headache and corporate BS. Now, just have to take a hit for a while as it grows.

Just thought of something
Since I technically will have both cars for a while, couldn't I put my CLK rims on the C350?? BTW I will not be keeping my badges to put them on the C.

First off, welcome and congrats on your buy.
I'd go metallic. Looks better and I have zero issues with interference on bluetooth, radio, or satellite. Personally, I went limo cause I wanted to try to keep the rear window the same shade as the pano to keep the continuous black glass look.
And after your business takes off, it should be XXX-BlackSeries

I was concerned with the reception without ceramic but I guess its not an issue.

Honestly....I prefer the CLK BS instead of the SL BS.... I love SLs, but there are several points to the BS model that I'm just not digging and if I'm dumping that much money down, I'd better love everything about it.
Or....you can wait for the SLR BS

Whenever I see the acronym BS, I keep thinking cow poop. Can't help it. Bad image to have for some very expensive cars.
And I agree. CLK BS > SL BS. It's all b.s. though.

Astute observer you are
I am not looking forward to tex but I think it will be ok. On a hot direct sunny day I sat in a black on black 350 pano tex and the seats were scolding hot. That car did not have tint either. With no ventilated seat option, I sat in a silver with gray/black tex and there was quite a noticeable difference in "relative" seat heat. I suspect that with tint and the lighter seats it will be fine.
