w204 c220 cdi auto
Hello Mathew,
I have the 220CDI Classic (entry model) which does not have the "Advanced Agility" package. Just plain old dampers which stiffen up when required over bumps.
The Advanced Agility button lowers the car 15mm therfore giving a more sporty (firmer) ride & sharpens the accelerator response.
This may be what you are experiencing if you have the Elegance or Avantguarde.
I think the shocks at this stage of their life should be bullet proof.
Carsy.

I don't have the advanced agility package (it is an option). I think it was just an issue with me getting used to the harder ride (as compared to my Commodore)! Also, the way the car "brakes" when you take the foot off the accelerator also felt strange, but I am getting accustomed to that as well.
As I drive the car longer there seems to be less to complain about and more to enjoy, which is good!

the rattles in my car fixed.. but a week later they are back..
going in again tomorrow to get it looked into again.
wipers are still skipping, and fold mirror now are making sound when unfolding.

I have rattles coming from the exact same locations, so I am VERY interested in what solves your problem (my dealership says it's "normal" because they only pop up when the temp is below 45-50).
In my case, pushing slightly against the top of the plexiglass cover of the instrument binacle eliminates the rattle for about 30 seconds at a time.
I have split folding rear seats, and opening the driver's side seat solves the rattle issue.
Looking fwd to your response!
