IAT's Data
I am big on data logging and specs if familiar with my other posts.
All tests done so far in the 65-80ºF range.
I noticed that cruising on the freeway the IAT(intake air temps) range from about 7-15º above ambient.
Slower movement in local traffic yields 20-30º above ambient temps.
Heat soak from sitting in a garage yields 50-60º above ambient and takes a while to cool down if staying in local traffic.
I doubt any aftermarket intakes will do much better as we do have true cold air intakes for the most part. My airboxes get plenty of debris under/before the filters to prove it.
