Windows Screeching

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone had this problem. When I rolled down my passenger side window it makes a loud screeching sound. I took it to the dealer and they said I had to clean the window. It stopped screeching after I cleaned the car, but the next day it would start up again. All my other windows do not make that loud sound. Do I need to replace the weather striping?

It can happen to any car, you have some dirt in your door. A vary small sand grain stuck on your seal can cus this. Ya it is very annoying and you should clean it cus it will over time start to scratch your side window.

Try Pealing back the seal and wiping them with a damp cloth on both sides of your window.

I had this issue in my E90 - turned out to be that the frame was out of alignment - have them check that out, it's a quick and minor repair and will also stop the potential for the window motor to burn out from the extra stress.
