Don't forget his is a 350, which is why it sounds deeper than mine to begin with. Compare a 350 with an x-pipe to this for a fair conversation piece.

This could be true but I'm afraid of going with a x pipe and it is raspy

just came home from muffler shop. had the X-pipe put in and NO RASP!! I'll record sound clip tomorrow or wednesday. The stock resonator is a XX chamber design btw. It is a pre-made x-pipe that was put in and weights about half of what the stock resonator weight.

btw, got_thang? is it me or your tires are bold already?

Do the shops carry these X-Pipes pre made up? I would like to do it but would think they would want a grip to make one from scratch?

I might go x pipe later on road and patch the muffler

They are bald since I do donuts with them

I was expecting them to make one from scratch, but the shop just pulled one out from their existing stock. lol...all in all $150 ain't bad since I'm not getting aftermarket exhaust for this car.

the idle is the same as stock, cruising is just a hair louder than stock, and WOT is beautiful!
