I heard the car from outside when i asked my friend to give it a little throttle. I notice the stock setup already has a hint of rasp in the tone. I wonder why this is because the M272 with the w203 exhaust setup doesn't rasp at all.

cool, so you still have the resonator then.

I agree about the stock sound. I don't know if any of you have heard your car outside at WOT? I was following my wife back from the dealer a few weeks ago and I told her on the cell phone to just mash the gas because I wanted to see & hear what it looked like. Honestly the stock exhaust sounds awesome once the car builds some revs, it seems to have a little rasp above 4K RPM. If I close my eyes and try to place a car to the sound it makes, the stock sound of an E36 M3 comes to mind.
