Windshield washer is on steroids

Does anyone else have a problem with the windshield washer and headlamp washer dispensing too much solution?

I do have to say that it does a good job washing the windshield, but I'd rather not have solution all over the rest of the car.

I do wash my car weekly (for anyone who thinks I don't) so its not like a month long accumulation.

Ask a friend to wash the window while you take a pic.

if the aim is too high and it has tendancy to shoot beyond the top of the
windshield, just aim it lower. is that what is occuring?

That's why I didn't get the P2. Eventhough I really wanted folding rear seats.

In part, yes. Its like a firehose comes on.

I'll check the aim and see that affects it. I was wondering if there might be an adjustment that would reduce the amount of windshielf washer fluid would be used.

The head light washer shoots solution most the way up the hood.

i have noticed that the wipers also leave fluid on the windshield by the passenger side... grrr, it does not wipe completely dry. I dont think its the wiper blades, but the design of the way the wipers are.

For me, my wipers work great, I can easily say they are the best setup I've had on a car. The headlight washers do over spray quite a bit but if you do it while driving at a decent speed it really minimizes the over spray.

I've thought about attempting to disconnect or look for a fuse for the headlamp washers so I can disable them in the summer months. Winters in MN are ridiculous and a clean car is only clean for 5-10 minutes so who cares.

I think the ideal setup would be to wire them up so that you can manually activate them.

Is there a magical secret to getting them to spray and NOT wipe? Many times I have dried salt, or a loving bird gift that needs some soak time. Bimmer - wasn't a prob, but Benz can't seem to hit it right.

Mine also squirts all over the hood and pano roof. Its so bad that I refuse to use it. I'll wait to get home or I'll stop at a service station to remove a bug splatter.
