Found this S-Class grille on ebay this morning. I'd like to see one of these for our cars. I'm going to send the seller a ? and ask who the mfg is to try and find out if they make one for the W204.

I know most members here are fans of the Sport grille, but anyone have any thoughts on this one?

Looks like black chrome with carbon fiber accents. At $195, that's something I'd be willing to shell out a bit o' change for. I've been scouring eBay for a lux grill to pop up, so that I can buy one and paint it black. So something like this would definitely work for me, especially with the subtle CF additions. A little different from painted black.

The only concern is the CF parts of the grill. If those bits are just CF overlays.......... hmmm... I could do that myself, probably, at a much cheaper cost, depending on the materials used.

Good find nonetheless.

EDIT: I just checked the eBay posting again, and the title says "chrome carbon fiber grill." If the grill is just a normal light chrome with CF trim, that's a no-go for me. I'd only be interested in a black chrome with CF trim.

You have to be careful especially with poor pics like in that auction. Some people think mock CF can be called CF and no one would care. I dought that the CF on that grill is real at that price.
