Talking My Baby Arrived Yesterday.

she had been waiting at the dealer for me, for 2 weeks.
Yesterday my old lease finally ended and i went to pick her up.

i must say, we hit it off straight away!
she's very pretty my black beauty.

I'l post some pics over the weekend after i cleaned her...
(The rain & wind yesterday brough some sahara sand with it)

1 Stupid question, which is not very important,
but i'd like to know anyway: (how) are the rearview mirrors heated...?

You mean the rear window bieng misted up and you would like to clear it?

if you have advance climate control then you can hit the bottom botton on the right hand side dial for temprature control.

no i mean the outside rearview mirrors.
i'm used to having a button whcih you press to heat them,
but there's no mention of any heating system in the manual.

nope there is no such feature. The side rear view mirrors ( if you bought the option ) will dimm at night. That happens to only driver side mirror and rear view mirror inside the car.

Why would they be heated up anyway?

Both outside mirrors are heated. It is a standard feature, and I think it is automatic unlike VW for example that you have to turn the switch.

The rearview mirrors will be heated when you push the button for the back window, so like LX RAVEN XL told, if you push that button your mirrors will be heated also. (thats here in the Netherlands)

Sorry, i was wrong.... it was by my previous Mercedes.....

But now the manual says:

At low outside temperatures, the exterior mirrors are heated automatically.

nope, that's comes with the avantgarde version.

In europe you have classic, avantgarde or elegance.

Why are the skirts so rounded??? Don't they use the AMG styling package in EU-spec Avantgarde version anymore?

In the The Netherlands every little thing is an option, we buy the car standard without anything, than you can choice for Elegance of Avantgarde (about € 2800,00) Exept for the C320CDI/C350, than this is standard.

We also have the Comfort package about € 2900,00
We have the AMG Package from € 2800,00 till € 4600,00, depends on the other packages you have... and than we have more extra's were we have to pay for.....

So my car was basic € 40K and with some packages i pay almost € 50K
