Phone problem

I am having a problem with my phone, in that I can't send or receive calls. I think the problem is basically that the mic is off, whenever I receive a call or send one the bottom right hand corner of the screen where it usually says Calls List now says mic off, and I have no idea how to change that, nothing I have tried has worked, any suggestions? thanks

Hey Spec Davis, thanks!. I took the battery out of my phone so it would "reboot" and gave it a try, lo and behold it worked just like it was supposed to.

Hey SD, didn't mean to doubt you, it just seemed like too simple of a solution. But you were right, worked a treat.
So thanks again.
