Bluetooth Problem

I have the multimedia package in my 08' C350 and whenever I talk on the phone using bluetooth I hear the person calling me clearly but the party on the other side tells me they can't hear me because my voice has too much echo. Now I figured it can possibly be my phone or the other person just has bad service but everyone seems to complain about it. Is there any way to adjust this I mean I tried resetting the audio settings but ughhh nothing is working.....

which phone you have? Did you try conencting another phone and checked if the probelem is still there? chances are you phone is not compatible with MB bluetooth. If a compatible phone is showing this problem then take it to the MB dealer and they will fix it for free ( under warranty )

Check if your phone is compatiable and your windows should be up as well. What type of phone and service you have?

nicee phone i had a voyager myself now im using the Dare in my Merc. I think you just need a software update on your phone and your fine. the echoing could be the sensitivity of the Mic in the car. I think you can change that you have to go to the settings.

Adjust the receiving and transmitting

There are some adjustments you can make to the phone settings. I had to do this to get good sound using the phone too.

While disconnected (not on the phone) go to the phone screen, highlight the phone and go into settings, there is a section on transmitting and receiving settings. Using the joystick wheel, adjust them either + or - depending on how it sounds. You will have to call someone to see if the adjustments are good, if not then disconnect and go back and adjust more.

The sales guy, YES SALES GUY, showed me this after he enabled my phone. You are not having software issues or phone compatability issues. If the bluetooth is working and you have sound, then the phone is enabled and you jst need to make some adjustments. See the manual about this also.

that expired has to be a corrupted file i would do is back up his contacts and his data and master reset by opening the back cover holding the tiny rest button while holding it down hold the Power key button in the front for 5 sec and you would be prompt if you want to restore Treo erasing all the data.
