Verizon Blackberry Curve

I haven't been up to date with blackberry rumors, but Verizon always gets phones a year later than their GSM counterparts. So right now, the Curve on Verizon is a "new" phone.
From what I remember, the BOLD will be out in a few months on ATT, Verizon will probably follow sometime mid 2009.
I have the Curve on ATT and it works flawlessly. Address book transferred no problem, didn't have to use the PC-CARD or anything - I do know that Verizon handcuffs the software but not sure to what extent on their curve.

I know the BB Curve 8330 will work i paired some to MB already. The LGVX8700 is a bad bluetooth phone i would not recommend that phone for bluetooth. I'm your network people lol

yes, i have the bb on AT&T and yes, verizon does cripple their bluetooth, not sure about the ones in blackberry tho.
verizon is one of the worst carrier in their requirement for phone makers....
they cripple phones with their own crappy OS that disables half the feature and ran many time slower.... I had them for years and switched to iphone.
hell, they are the one who turned apple down on iphone deal... bunch of idiots at helm...

woo, off topic but I tried the Dare, not impressed at all, that's still window mobile OS underneath... interface is more like a push screen rather than a touch screen. The coolest thing about iphone is their app store, instant downloads and purchase without shoveling your cc everytime. I think MS came out their own app store too, never had any experience tho.
For a smartphone, iphone rules, rest are just copycats, bb still the email king but that's about it, not much else it can do better. The next big thing maybe Android, that's probably gonna give a serious contention to iphone's market. Verzion won't have an android phone til 2009 if not 2010... Tmobile rumor to have it in 4th quarter of 08. its exciting to be in a market for a new smartphone these days.

ahh.. the blackberry thunder, ya RIMM better start kicking some butt on the web browser function, full html support. In addition, better and friendly API for developers and an iphone like App store.
With companies like EA and Sega started to dedicate a development team for iphone gaming, its gonna be harder for RIMM to catch up.
RIMM has enjoyed much of the smartphone market since it knocked Palm out of the throne, now its being threaten with features that it lacks, if they dont pick up they will end up like palm.

How do you like the Dare my contract is due early next month and I was thinking of that or the Samsung Jazz (I like the small profile). I really don't need e-mail and such as I use my company blackberry for that.

it paired up fine after i removed the space betwee the lg and vx9700 in the bluetooth menu on the phone. now however its hit or miss when placing a call. sometimes it works fine other times it connects but i cant hear a thing on my end in the car but the people i'm calling know i'm calling but can hear me either. most of the time i cant hear them even though the screen says the call went through. fricken frustrating

Ron the Dare is awesome it has full HTML and email aswell touch friendly i'll just say i love the phone.
Mogul when that happens the next time when you cant hear your call just turn your phone off and then on basically just restart it.
_C350 the Bold should work do the pairing steps over again.
