Engine Oil...Change or no need?

Ok. I did my first service check today at around 1500 miles
and I am considering to change my engine oil.
I've asked the dealer and he told me it would be around 125$ if you want to
change it.
My friend told me that I should change my engine oil since it is a new car engine and it would have cylinder dust(?) in the engine oil(?) or something like that.
Do everyone here in this forum change their engine oil after their first service check?:con fused:

I never knew about the 1,000-mile inspection. I just did the 20,000 km (13,000 miles) service A, which included the oil change.

Nobody changes their oil that early because it is not necessary. Mercedes and ExxonMobil both say waiting until 13K miles is just fine. I changed mine at 5K miles because I do a lot of under five mile trips but that's just my choice.

Relax.

It would be a waste of time and money.
