Post on the SLK threads that you want one. Most of us were giving it away...the thing looks nasty. I gave mine away already, i don't think it helps at all, if you REALLY need it, you might as well get a real mudflap.

I think this is what you are referring to
unfortunately its sold in Europe and not in the US (at least thats what my dealer said)
some say it promotes the wind to pass thought the taillight vents better giving extra down force, while reducing wind turbulence generated from the rear wheel
IMO I kinda like it! it adds volume to the rear body lines.

Great search! thanks for the info!
yeah 180 is too much for that piece without paint
I gotta check to see how much the OEM's cost first.
if the OEM's goes for $400 painted, I may have different opinions though.
although the seller states they are located in Germany, the product is from Hong Kong.
maybe some members of this forum can give us a more realistic price
BTW Mercedes Calls them Rear Fender Covers here are the Part#'s
REAR FENDER COVER

Left top side: A 204 690 35 30
Left Bottom side: A 204 690 39 30

I don't see the benefit of having that...
It's not like it's a big flare that makes the rear fender looks wider. The only thing I can think of, is it'll leave a sticky line of dust/dirt/debris when you remove it later.
And the price!?
I'LL PASS
