abcdefg pipe? questions about the famous x pipe

I saw nbturbos youtube video, and I read a few forums. Now I have some questions. I have always been pretty relaxed about my car, never did anything to it, no mods or anything. UNTIL I saw that video of the X pipe mod. Is it worth it? I want it to be an improved version of the stock exhaust, not a ratty exhaust that people put on mitubishis and stuff like that. Is it a rough nice sound? I have also heard about the H pipe and straight pipe, Which one is the best? (straight,x,or H). Do you guys have suggestions? I just want a nice sounding Mercedes Benz c300. What do you guys think is a good start?

You're gonna have debates. Some people call my car raspy. I personally love it. Great growl under low load and at high revs it screams. NO performance gains, or loss.

I did straight pipes before the X pipe, and HATED it, super raspy and it had a weird whistle at idle.
