Iphone and Bluetooth problems.
it was pretty straight forward.
did you delete the old iphone from your car 1st?
it doesn't accomidate 2 phones linked so you need to get rid of the 1st one before adding the new one
he mentioned at time of set up there is 2 ways to do it.
1) have the car look for the phone
2)have the phone look for the car.
i have tried both ways and can not seem to get my bluetooth to connect. i am sure there must be a step that i am missing. best thing is take it in and get the tech to do it
let me check with my car tonight and see if there is a step missing
so the MB bluetooth is not in the list?
it sounds like one of the 2 are not searching.and since your iphone can find a handsfree, Im guessing the MB is not searching for anything.
I had both car and phone search each other when I set it up.
my car asked to set a password for pairing.
what steps did you two take to pair them up?
it may just be the order of operation
start with iphone search, MB search find iphone(or what ever you named your phone), MB password code, and enter it on to your phone.

Maybe a stupid question, but do you have Bluetooth selected "on" on the Iphone>settings>general menu of the phone?
So hopefuly they can do something. Even the one time the car found the phone and the phone found Mb bluetooth, they wouln't link and authorize.
