Sorry to say, but that looks terrible.
Where did you get it? I don't have a CF spoiler, but I can readily tell that this is definitely not normal.

Just a note:
If you lined up the edges wrong in the initial application and the middle portion is bent up a bit, the spoiler might pop up again over time. Perhaps you should take it off and reattach?

3m heavy duty double sided tape. The technique I learned watching pros do it was after measuring where to place the spoiler, tear off a piece of the tape backing on the top and on the bottom on one side. Then start from the bottom, slowly peal away the backing, while pressing the freshly revealed tape (going left to right or vise versa). Then repeat with the top tape, as you should have pieces of the backing already pulled out and revealed. Kinda hard to explain, but hopefully anyone reading this that is still going to put their spoiler on can learn.
When I did this myself the first time, I just pealed away all the tape backing at once and tried to put it on. Much less precise and sloppy. Glad I decided to get it mine repainted for better color matching and get it reapplied.

ok, i get it. im almost scared to tear the backing leaving some leftover stuck underneath, then i would have to rip the spoiler off and do it all over. but it think when i put mine on, i will do that technique.

The backing is like this plastic-y film thing which isn't easy to break off so you shouldn't have to worry about that. Basically this allows you to worry about a small section of exposed tape at a time and not be overwhelmed.

So decided to repaint after all, ay? At the meet, I was too much in awe of everything else you've done to the car to notice the color difference, but my gf noticed it right away.
