Finally! Got My Diffuser & Quad Tips Done
Ok gentlemen, am finally ready to present my latest mod: C63 diffuser and AMG quad tips!
My kudos to Garage 5 at Bridgeport Road in Richmond on the excellent job.
If you want yours done, see Rob and Wayne.
The OEM SLK55AMG quad tips were ordered from AMGTestDriverNJ and are very high quality. The C63 diffuser came from TuneTime. Both provided me excellent service and wouldn't hesitate to continue doing business with them.
Enjoy guys! Standby for more mods next month.
Waiting patiently for "Madracer" to respond.

Sounds like....VVVVAVAROOOM! Lmao.
Kidding aside, these are only the quad tips; everything else is bone stock....so there is no change in sound and the good thing is...no change in low end torque.
Did two complete AMG exhaust swaps before on C320 and E500 and won't do it again.....lost a bit of low end torque. The sounds were of course nice and well modulated, not rice.

Azn_C300, here are a couple of photos of the "Y" pipe.
The whole key to the success of this installation is finding a good speed shop with a lot a patience to fabricate the "Y" pipes and align the tips properly before welding them together.
The job took a good 5 hours to complete, but the result was well worth the wait and money.

To answer your question Devastator187 and Normandie4life, the total cost of the diffuser & quad tips + installation came to C$1,260.00.
Expensive but like I said, the results was gratifying.

C63 diffusor replica $270
C63 quad tips $300-400
labor and some unknown charges $600-700
end result put a smile on your face: priceless
BUT, the parts should cost only about $500 to 600. Why did they charge you so much for the labor??? You can probably do the diffusor yourself in 20 minutes. So it's just the exhaust tips............ i think you got ripped off.
