Is this a good deal? Help!

However, I'm not sure if I am a fan or Palladium Silver. My friend just got Iridium and I don't want to be a copycat and thought that Palladium looks too close to Iridium.
I want White but I can only find a 09 for $38,500. Your thoughts? Any major advantages to the 09 as it will be 2000 difference.

I think $36500 is not bad if the MSRP is $42000.
But I would throw back to the sales $35000 and see what they come back with. Afterall it's an 2008 and the 2009 are out.
I love white, i got one. If you can settle for that color, i would say just take the 08. Not much change on the 09 to worth putting in extra $2000.

I got a silver one at the time because the particular car did not have black interiors with white cars (and white was rare) but sadly the next year they came out with white cars with black and i see them around sometimes and wish I had gotten a white one.
Its amazing how many people buy white on this forum. It must be an enthusiast thing. I see a good number of w204s up in the bay area but mostly black or steel gray or palladium. None of those are bad colors at all, but the only white one I've seen had after market rims, so maybe it IS an enthusiast thing.

Mine is Iridium Silver, P2, and just Pano roof, for $34,700 before tax and reg.

You are asking if a discount of $5,650 on a NEW C300 is a good deal?
You really have to ask if a $5,650 discount is good.
If you dont know this is better than good, im just curious what you think would be a good deal. Just do a search to see what people have been paying.

It is 5650 discount from MSRP but many people have been paying way below invoice on the 08's. Remember, this is an 08 and not an 09. Also, it's before tax + reg.

I wanted a white one too, but our dealership didn't have any on the lot at the time and I was too anxious to wait for a few weeks. Is $36,500 out the door or before tax and reg. If so, then it's not bad at all (4-Matic)!

I think I will wait it out and get a white one. There seem to be no more whites with the combo that I am looking for in the area on the 08's which they are discounting at least 5-6k off of MSRP.
The white with the panorama roof looks beautiful imho. I'm tossing and turning too much thinking about it and I don't want to regret my decision. Even though Palladium is a great color but it's just not me...you know what I mean.

If I were you, I'd pass. Money can always be made up, but if you get a car that isn't want you wanted, it will bug constantly bug you every time you see it. You can't put a price on happiness.

Yea...I think I will wait until Dec time to see if there are any good deals on the 09's. I can also check out the new 09 A4 which is pretty darn sweet looking on that A5 platform. However, A4 raised the price significantly and it looks only 'ok' unless you add the expensive Prestige package. Thanks for everyone's help here and have fun driving the C.
