<<The new R is a svelte looking sportwagon/ luxury mobile that promises to be everything that the Chrysler Pacifica is not: agile, powerful and roomy. >>>
And saleproof. The R-Class is a flop. The dealers use them as courtesy vehicles since they can't sell the things. Too big, too ugly and too expensive. When's the last time you saw one on the road?
BTW, all this data you are quoting appears to be about two years old.

i am surprised with the number of people on this board that lack any common knowledge whatsoever. Arguing on the internet is like arguing with a retard, its a losing battle.
Dunn, believe what you will but Chrysler had NOTHING to do with the CLS or W204, or the R class. Its been a one way streak of MBZ platforms and parts going to Chrysler. Enjoy the C300 but I am done arguing with you. Believe your uneducated friends and be safe.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

and the cls is super small inside. Thats one of the reasons i went with the w-204 because i felt like the backseats had more room then the cls. But that chopped down ceiling looks sick

Pay attention
And I've driven a few MLs including the AMG model (for a week) and I have no desire to own one.
Why don't you dig out the comparative sales figures to similar vehicles and get back to me.

FWIW, I see R classes on the road here in Japan. Relatively few, however. A heck of a lot more Toyotas!

it's more like "people that are right" versus "you". Your hear-say is plain and simple FALSE. feel free to bring you Chrysler designed the CLS, W204, etc. theory up at any meets. just make sure you are prepared for getting laughed at.
