I Highly Reccomend the Chrome Door Handle Inserts on a white c-class

My car is black and I had chrome around the tail lights, head lights, and handle inserts. I hated them. I eventually took them all off and vinyl wrapped all chrome trimming on the car. Includes window trim, side molding, trunk lid. I need to do the fog light trim one day. Looks a lot better without chrome trims.

I have a new Lunar Blue that came from the factory with the inserts and I really like them. No more fingernail stratches and I like the way they look.

I have a brand new set of these for sale. They are still wrapped, I decided to go in a different direction.
I paid $40 for them a couple months back. Looking for $25 shipped in the US on these.
PM me if you are interested.
Thanks

Darn, only if you've posted this a week sooner. I've already bought mine.

Minus chrome, pic #2 is far better. Fan of the chrome window surrounds though, I'm not a fan of the total blackout look. Thats how I have my (Tenorite Grey - [Steel Grey USA]) car.

I have a 2011 C300 that came with the chrome door inserts.
The Mercedes data sheet from the dealer showed this as a $300 option.
Not sure why anyone would pay to have this because it looks tacky on a black car.
See the before and after shots.
BEfore shots with the chrome door handle inserts
After shots with the inserts removed and also the chrome strip at the door removed.
Also see that I changed out the orange stock side markers for the smoke color in case someone is wondering how it looks on a black.
What do you guys think? Was I wrong to remove the chrome?

You can wrap the chrome trim around the windows. There is even a DIY youtube video on it. To remove the chrome strip on the door just use a heat gun/hair dryer and fishing line like they said. You might need to scoop up an eraser for the adhesive residue.

Have same car except it's a 2012. I wouldn't pay for the chrome, not a fan of the look! I'm not even a fan of the factory chrome on the car either. It's around the windows, (I can live with that) along the bottom of the doors [COLOR="Blue"](I see you took them off. Was that difficult? I'm planning to do the same with a hairdryer and HD fishing line. Any tips?)[/COLOR.] and unfortunately the door handle tops have chrome if you have KEYLESS-GO which we do. Why it's even there is a mystery. I do not like too much chrome on anything.

still available? willing to grab it to paint black and install on my C since I'm already doing black/white theme. Getting tired of seeing those scratches inside of the door handles.
