Stock Xenons on non P2 C Class

Im really pushing my financial limits on the new C350 espcially because of the 2009 price increase. the only reason why i would buy the P2 package is for the xenon headlights (not so much for the rear sunshade/cornering fogs).

but i dont like aftermarket options. reasons being that i dont like the aftermarket look that so many people have. it just doesnt look right. its either too white or too blue or too bright.

are there any aftermarket options that look OEM? or how much would it cost to somehow put the stock headlights up (without cornering fogs)?

thanks

definately buying.

ive done the math, and since the C350 has P1 standard, as well as spoiler, and better rims, the difference isnt that big. just curious if it was possible

im assuming it would be pretty expensive.

most xenon lamps cost at least $1000 per lamp .

i think the only really cost effective thing you can do is buy new bulbs, but thats would not quite be the same... or just pony up for the full p2.

Your best option is probably to find an 08 C350 with P2 that is still on a lot, and try to get the price down since it is one model year older. I know a lot of dealers are marking the 08s down.

The discounts on the 2008's are so insane it's like you can get the P2 option for free.

I bought my car 4 weeks ago and got a $5200 discount. Now there are people getting $7,000 discounts.

Plus the financing was 3.9% and that's now down to 2.9% so you'd be saving even more.

Grab a 2008 while you can still pick your color and options.

The aftermarkets looking too blue are because of the color temperature of the bulbs that person is using. OEM is about 4300k. Too bright might be because of an inferior retrofit that clauses glare and whatnot.
