I saw that the S550 has color coded strips on the tail light and thought I would try this. I used 1/4" boot tape, found at west marine supplies. It has been on for weeks through rain and heat. What do you think of the look?

The head light doesnt look too bad.. good try i guess. but yea the s class tail lights def look sharp with the 2 strips in them!

 

I would buy the chrome headlight and taillight trim and colormatch them.

using "tape" for accents is cheap and ghetto, it's a benz please dont use tape as a mod!

 

Great minds think alike. Here is the tail light of Darth. I used the chrome trim from E-bay sanded, primed, painted black and added some CF strips.



Headlight the same idea.

 

dude just by the trim and then paint them any color you want.

No they stick on with 3M tape.

 

The new Ford Focus taillights are surrounded and bisected by big chrome stripping. So if you want it to look like a rental car, well then...

 

he is obviously going for the brabus bullit look or new s-class look and wants nothing to do with a cheap american rental car
