I carry with me either a H&K P2000, a Glock 17 or a Glock 26 but I never leave it in the car. It goes in the car ONLY when I go in it too...
BTW...I have seen pictures in the past (can't remember the website) to where there's a factory mod (YES, through MB)to acomodate an MP5 on the rear seat. Do anyone here knows of a link to these pictures or mod?

Ask Sarah Palin, I am sure she can help you where to put your firearms.
Only in America that one would have this problem

It's not a problem at all! I have a concealed carry license (in the USA, of course) -- those of us who carry have at least one reason to do so, probably more.
I don't use a mount either, but have considered getting a console safe to keep my pistol in when I'm going into a bank, gov't bldg, etc. Otherwise, I just keep it holstered. I have seen a couple of vehicle mounts out there that look okay, but would hesitate to put them in my Benz. I might consider 'em for my Jeep, though. Sorry, I can't remember the names right now...
One option is to just mount a thumb snap holster somewhere within reach. You could use some of that industrial self-adhesive velcro and it would be removable.
(As an aside, if you can't find something gun-related through mouseguns.com, it probably doesn't exist... )

Folks, if you don't understand why some of us carry weapons, that's okay. I don't understand why you DON'T carry a weapon. We're not gonna change each others' minds here, but the OP's question is legitimate.

No matter whats the reason is , none should carry firearms . Leave them at home. Its a danger right there to carry them in the first place. Stop playing with people lives. Saying i carry firearm as I want to defines how ignorant one is.

I'm happy that you feel as ignorantly bliss as you do. I really am. I never even owned a handgun until I started working in the prison system. Now I never go anywhere in the USA without one. I truly hope that you will remain as ignorant of the real world as you are now. I hope that you will never encounter any of my former clients. If you ever do encounter one of my former clients, I hope you live to silently apologize and thank God.
Please continue to live your lives peacefully and unaware of the world around you. I'm totally sincere in saying this. I wish you all nothing but peace and happiness.
btw, I would let anyone have my car before I would shoot them. That's not why I carry. You can have anything I own. Just don't threaten my family.

I think we don't have to debate our legal rights...I carry and i know how to handle my firearms. I love the fact many here have no idea how many ppl carry and they would never even know, maybe us country folk idiots with guns are not the ignorant ones???

This post became stupid quickly. OP asked where people store firearms. If you don't- we don't care. Keep your moral judgments to yourself. Some of us are required to carry firearms and if comes down to the my life or a loved ones versus a violent criminal- I don't believe that takes a lot of thought. I don't carry for the fun of it or to be a macho a$$hole- it comes with the job. Sorry if that disappoints, but someone needs to protect you.
