C63 diffuser
So the other day im at the dealership asking about C63, and how much it would be to order. Well to my surprise, i was informed, that it can only be ordered with the complete bumper! Now thats just some crazy sh&t. one piece of plastic and u have to order the whole bumper and of course the price was just as crazy, 750 euro unpainted.

thats probably the reason why they mentioned to buy an entire bumper.
where it is easier to attach the entire bumper on to the current mounts.
however regardless ordering the complete bumper & diffuser set as the
only option to buy is crazy.

The C63 rear diffuser can be attached to the standard c, but using additional brackets to mount them.

I'm not quite sure about fitting the C63 diffuser on a lux model.
The rear of all W204 look the same so I assume the "should" fit the bumper
the basic problem is having the diffuser bolted/mounted in place from the chassis to the diffuser and not from the diffuser to the rear bumper.
this is what I mean.
for further info check out Flame3Gs' post on How To Guide for the C63 Diffuser very good info

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I know this is a little off topic, but are the brackets available? I looked under a C63 last week and they appear to be thick S-shaped (kind of) pieces of plastic. They could probably be easily machined out of plate or aluminum.

I'm not quite sure if there are 3rd parties that sell these brackets.
but I too agree with you; they should make them in aluminum or plate casting.
although its thick plastic, the brackets do look very brittle.
I think its a great idea to fabricate a bracket rather than just bolting it on with ss rods. it would look aesthetically OEM like
