I just checked TireRack site and they do offer H&R coil over kit for non 4matic models. They are $1K more then just set of springs, but if you are really looking “to feel a difference” in driving, that is only way to go. If you are lowering your car just for a “sportier look” go with springs only.

my setup is front 19x8.5 offset45 235/35 tires, rear 19x9.5 offset48 265/30 tires. It worked out real nice with the rims and tires pretty flush with the fenders with no rubbing issues even with the drop.
Ok! Thanks! Have bought Mandrus Millenium to my w204! F: 19x8,5 ET43, B: 19x9,5 ET 53. Tires are 225/35 in front and 255/30 in the back! Hope this will work out great! Thinking about lowering it with HR ore Eibach.

Super Sport is the nicest, cause it looks flushed. I had a buddy inquire about cutting the springs, but he was told that it's no possible because the springs are "pig tailed"....meaning the coils get smaller on one end, so you cannot cut it Is this true? I know a few members claim they have theirs cut Mike, are your's cut or just regular Super Sport. If it's regular, I'm going to go witht he Super Sport ones. Coilovers normally cost more and has a rougher ride too right guys?

Coilovers are about 4 times higher, but you have a lot of height adjustment. They also have shocks that are tuned to work with the springs they are paired with. If the damping is adjustable, the ride can be rougher if they are adjusted to a very firm setting. Ask AZN_C300 about the ride on with his H&Rs. They have no rebound or damping adjustment.
When you say flushed, do you mean the fender gap is reduced or the wheels poke out close the fender lip? If it's the latter, having a low ride height will not make the wheels look flush with the fender lip. It will make them look more sucked in.

In everyone's opinion how do you think I will get thru winter (in Toronto) with the Eibach spings on my car, will i be ok? am i crazy? or should i not do it.

My car is also a daily driver, except I live in southern California so there really isn't a winter here. I set up a poll in another thread and it looks like people are liking the Eibach springs the best. I think I'll be purchasing my set very soon.

I notice your car is a C300 Sport, right? If you currently don't have any issues driving in the snow now, Eibach Pro-Kit should not be a issue as the drop is negligible (approx. 1/2" or less).
Lowered my car with HR sport spring today, with 5mm spring pads in the rear. Just enough drop.
Havent fitted my summer wheels yet (still ice here in norway).
I have Mandrus Millenium 19" 8,5 et43 225/30 in front and 9,5 et 53 255/35 in the back.
Does anyone know if this is gonna work with no problem
Thanks

i notice that lowering springs are relatively inexpensive...
are there any problems that could occur if just springs are installed?
coilovers seem like too much money to spend on a leased car...
