port?Is that what you are looking for?The one you plug a scanner into when you have a check engine light on.
Usually located under the dashboard drivers side behind a little flip down plastic door.The reason it is usually located there is by regulation it has to be located within 3 feet of the driver.That way a diy owner can sit in the drivers seat and scan their own codes.
