i parked my car and someone parked behind me . the only thing is they pressed their front plate on my back bumper. it made 4 little indents. any ideas on how to fix it (fill it in)or does it have to be repainted ...

It's probably going to need to be repaired by a professional. I really hate inconsiderate drivers.

I hate that. Sorry to hear but it sounds like a body shop is called for.

I have had a couple of those happen to me. Any ideas on something that could be applied to the bumper?

Did you get their license plate? Those *******s did a damn hit and run? I hope you get it fixed for a good price bro

nope no license plate .. i went to the body shop between $300 to $400
they said it would have to be repainted.
its not that bad i just thought their was a way beside repainting it ...you cant really see it but i know its their you know how it is.. ... thanx

While driving through NYC I saw cars parked with what looked like a rubber sheet over the rear bumper. If I remember right it was called bumper buddy.

wow i got the same issue, but only the top two screws. I got a quote for 275.00 to fix it but i will wait after the cold winter.

What about how people say the regular body shops won't use the ceramic particle paint and it won't match in a few years?? Is this true?

Maybe if you do a pencil rubbing on paper over the bumper, their license numbers will appear?

i wish.. the plates didnt press that hard .. only the screws but its very small marks ... good try tho lol

I had that happen twice with a black Millenia I owned prior to my C. I trimmed the rough edge away with a razor and then filled it with several coats of touch up paint.(several being 10-15) I used a light polishing compound to touch it up and finished with a glaze style wax. Of the three I repaired, two looked very good and one was virtually undetectable. Of course, it depends on how hard this guy got into you as mine were no more than a 1/4 inch deep.
