Baby Seats...
Hi Guys,
We are at the stage where we would need to put a baby seat in the W204 very soon.
Wanted to get your feedback on this from you experts
What brand?
Positioning of the seat (centre or the side of the rear seat)?
Any other tips?
... Thanks in advance...

2011 BMW 335xi titanium silver.
Not an expert, just expecting....
Brand is preference and depends what is available and which models pass safety standards in your country. Graco or Preg perigo are pretty common. Just check for any product recalls. Used car seats after 4-5 years are not recommended as the plastic might become brittle.
If you have a rear passenger, then I guess the right side might be better to converse with your partner and have the baby behind you (right hand drive).
Get a seat saver - which is a soft rubber plastic mat that protects your car seat against imprints, spills and droppings.
Congrats!

Ya, I actually tried to get the Recaro car seat into Canada but turns out they aren't certified here and it's near impossible to get them...I guess they'd need to be smuggled over the border My wife has an Eddie Bauer and it's a PITA to tighten up but my little guy is comfortable in it so we make due. With my MB coming in this month, I'm looking for a new one but staying away from the EB for the 2nd seat. Not sure what I'll end up with. Maybe worth a drive to the US

Thanks Beest, I'll give him a try. Just don't know what happens when it hits Canadian customs. Not sure if they monitor for stuff like this...maybe he can ship in an unmarked box and say it's a gift or warranty item
