2005 Honda Odyssey
Does the lifetime roadside assistance cover towing?
From what I read it doesn't, but I have read in this forum that towing back to the dealer was free. Has anyone else used the towing service?

No. They can arrange the towing but you have to pay.

MB roadside assistance did cover for towing to the dealership on my car.
It would have costed $100.

Every Mercedes in the US, no matter how old and how many owners it has had is eligible for roadside assistance. 1-800-formercedes.

Cars in warranty probably don't pay and towing may be on case by case basis. I believe it is customary to tip the technician.

They claim they send someone from a dealership, but if you're hundreds of miles from a dealership, do they really do that instead of calling a local tow company?

Of course not. MBUSA has chosen authorized substitutes.
