Replacement Door Lock Plungers...

I really don't care much for the little black plastic door lock plungers. They just seem to look and feel cheap. Has anyone seen oem or aftermarket replacements? Maybe a little shorter when locked and/or even a nice little MB Star would be pretty sweet.

I really hate it when people answer a question by saying "try the search feature" because some might not even know it exists.

Many threads on this. Basically get a set of w203 aftermarket pins. The fronts just screw off and the new ones screw on. The backs though are a real PIA they must first be cut down then the threads have to be drilled out. I used neoprene hoseing to make a pressure fitting, others have followed a different path. My fronts sit flush but the backs are still about 1/4 inch out when locked. Good luck you will need it.

Thanks for the patience guys... If you search for "plungers" instead of "pins" you don't get much. Hopefully I will have some nice aluminum pins installed in a week or so.
