Come on guys, the photos of the new E-Class in white doesn't look that bad at all. The more you look, the more you like. 
Sometimes, it just take a little longer before people appreciate a new design. Remember how people hated the elliptical headlights when they first came out?

where did you find those last pics? are they legit? is that what it will look like? I can't wait for the new E63 to come out. I'm the first person my MB dealer is calling once they hit port.

It was a posting on a blog I visit, jalopnik.com apparently originally via autoscoops.eu. It's a blog so have to take with a grain of salt but normally they get their facts right.

I notice that the red car has different taillights and trunk trim compared to the white car. I'll bet the red car is the production version.
The white car may have a Sport option of some sort since the bumper cover is shaped differently at the bottom, similar to the C's and the red car has a chromed trim strip on the bumper, missing on the white one.
The white car has larger wheels, also. The front views seem pretty much the same.
My sales guy told me last week that there had been a dealer introduction "down south" (Arizona or California, presumably) and a sedan and coupe had been shown. He said the opinions were that the sedan was "fantastic" and the coupe "gorgeous". The cars will be here in late Spring except for the diesels which will be very late in the year.

at first i thought it looked bad.. but now i think it looks REALLY nice! GO on the MB website and check out the new pics of it. The coupe is amazing. And to the person that said "i wonder what they are going to do to the clk" I believe that they are discontinuing the CLK and just creating an E-class coupe instead. People will get used to this look soon. Just i hate the new side mirrors. They are using these same ugly side mirrors for the faclifted S-class

The Pics on the Benz site, well the Sedan looks better than the coupe to me. The coupe reminds me of a C-class, that got exposed to gamma rays and became the Benz C-class Hulk

If you compare the interiors of the two, despite my own opinion of not liking the overly boxy/clunky design, the Sedans looks much more quality and luxurious.

Agreed. I've always liked M-B more than BMW.... Well at least after the 90's that's been the case, now I find myself loving the new 7-Series, and eagerly awaiting the new 5-Series as I'm just not convinced that M-B knows what they're doing design-wise any more, comparatively speaking.
