C220 CDI Sport
Hi Hutch,
I have a C Class Sport (I think that is the P2 Package in the USA) with the 6 spoke 17" wheels, I have installed H&R spacers on the rear (10mm on each side) fills the arches nicely and are a very good quality product, I also added some onto the axles of my E90 BMW with no issues. they cost £95 in the UK with the extended bolts included.
10mm fills the arches nicely without any further mods required i.e. rolling the arches to prevent the tyres from scraping.
Hope this helps
Dave

I am getting some soon. They look great when your car is lowered. I like my 18" option wheels, but the rears will need to sit close to flush (just inside the fender lip) when the car is lower to avoid the sucked-in look. I know somew people are against them, but I have used H&R spacers on all of my cars with great success. Rear spacers will slightly improve turn-in. They make a few sizes for the W204s. Go to their website. They are hubcentric for OE wheels. You will also need longer lug bolts. I think for our cars they are about $95.00 each plus lug bolts. Installing is as easy as removing and re-installing your wheels. 12mm and under shouldn't cause any problems, but I would remove them prior to going to the dealership for service or whatever. Don't give them excuses.

You can drive as you would w/out spacers. You'll need to measure the clearance between the part of your sidewall that sticks out the most and the fender lip. I normally use a thick post-it pad. Place it between the tire and fender lip and peel away sheets until just fits between the side wall and fender lip. Then, measure the thickness of the post-it pad. Thickness will be equal to the thickness of the appropriate spacer. If you intend to lower the car, you really need to measure. Look at H&R's site. You can see how it looks on certain cars when the tire just lines up with the side of the car. Very nice. This will give you an idea on how to measure. Go to the bottom of the page:

Wow, I was wrong on the price. They are $95.00 per pair. Lug bolts are $3.50 each. The hard part is finding a retailer. I know of a VW/Audi tuner here that can probably get them. Copy and paste this link to your address bar. I can't get it to make a link:
