Turing ABS and ESP off (diagnostic test mode)
There is a hidden menu in our W204s that lets you turn off ESP, ABS and ASR off like the menu on W203s. first turn key into position 1 (NOT the engine start position) . then Press and hold "Accept (phone button)" on the steering wheel for 1 sec and then press and hold "OK" on the steering wheel until the menu comes up on the display. You will get 3 items and the second one is diagnostic test mode.

Wow, that is cool, specially when/if you take the car on a track!! Anyway, can you just turn it off and on on the display and then drive with or without the aids for as long as you want or does the cr reset the driving aids on once you turn the engine off?

I'll do it in a nice way before you get flamed on this forum.
The Search option at the top of the screen is your friend here. Secret menus have been discussed many times (dyno mode, resetting service indicator etc).
BTW Welcome to the forum.

Heres a video on how it's done.
Your ABS stops your wheels from locking up when you brake hard, reducing the likelihood that you spin out/lose control. You don't necessarily need them since cars recently (maybe 5-6 years ago?) were required to have the system. Disable at your own risk
