your best bet is to bring it down to an exhaust shop, they know best. you'd need some space for tolerance as the vibration might melt your diffuser

Buenas tardes.

I made a custom diffused myself with tips and "installation" it cost me just over $400. I bought a used c63 amg diffuser, used my imagination, got some aftermarket tips, I wanted round not oval but a pair of used ovals will run u a lil more than what I paid for 4 chrome stainless tips so if u use ur ovals plus a pair of used it'll cost around the same. I say "installation" because I did it myself, I made custom brackets and paid 80 for all the custom welding, just need to ask around. Most shops wanted $150. I'll post pics in a bit, I haven't taken pics with the tips on but I have pics of the tips themselves and the diffuser on the car. Oh this price also included me making the fins bigger with a lil fabrication, made some moldings and fiberglass and had a shop paint it to match the car...later I will but LED lights in the diffused for the cut outs I made. mind u I'm just a do it yourselfer, no professional training...just a lil innovation and imagination folks.

So does this mean that if I want to have the quad tips on my C350, I don't have to cut the bumper because of this diffuser? I am a bit confused as to how it would work cause diffusers usually just stick on top of the bumper. So I am assuming the stock bumper would still need to cut a little on each side for the extra tips and the diffuser would just hide the cut and all that?
I don't know if I am too keen on wanting to cut the bumper.
EDIT: Actually looking at some pics, it seems like the bracket is used to make the diffuser fit a little lower and the exhaust tips are pretty low so as to come through the diffuser cut without having the bumper to be cut. Am I right in assuming this?
Which website can I order all the parts from for a 2009 C350? I am in Canada, so I am not sure if a dealer can supply me with all the parts and as far as I know their prices are usually pretty extortionate.
Thanks

Actually before I go ahead with this a thought crossed my mind. This could potentially ruin my factory warranty could it not? I am pretty sure they would say I've lost my factory warranty cause of this mod.

lol NO! nothing can void your warranty unless the dealer proves that the mod you did caused a problem. this is simply cosmetic, not mechanical or electrical.
