Hey guys. Anyone thought about retrofitting a navi-MM unit instead? I know there are selling on ebay.de for about $1200 Euros + shipping. That means that we can get it for around $2000 USD here. This is for the DVD, Navi, Hard Drive, 7" LCD, etc. (no Harman Kardom system obviously). I know it can be retrofited because one of the sellers say that they can do it for a fee. The question is will it need to be reprogramed to work in US. If we can get some tech people to take a look a this it might be a much better option.

I'm not saying that this video interface for the Audio20 doesnt look good, but when you add the GPS to it, we are already looking close to the $1000, and we are stuck with the same crappy system.

need the screen and the air vents and the radio. can anyone get me part numbers for does?

3 parts

the 7inch screen
the vents b/c thats what opens the screen up and down with bottons
and the radio/unit

any update.......i just got a email back from the gnetcanada guys and they fixed their website, the unit is plug and play so i will be ordering one in a couple of weeks.

What will you use this unit for?

If you want this unit mostly for the backup camera (as I do) Be sure to ask how will this be engaged when you put reverse. The OEM Comand Navi has a setting on the hidden menu that does this automaticaly, but it seems that with this system you will have to tap a reverse wire or something to get it to work. This process is defenetly not Plugand Play, and I will be worried about warranty issues.
