AV INPUT INTERFACE DVD GPS
Hi there,
found this on ebay, for those who don't have the MM package like me.

Sounds power, and they say it's plug&play. costs $600, not bad comparing to the UMI from Merc.
U guys think i should get this or the UMI? any other recommendatons?

It looks frickin amazing. That is exactly what I want (if it is legit). I would like more info on the GPS input.
If you go into the diagnostic mode for the screen it shows the display is capable of much more than oem uses.

let us know the price dude. it seems they only do wholesale as "Minimum Order Quantity: 50 Pack/Packs " if its way under the $600, then maybe we can hook up a group buy.

The control knob next to the shift gear can be used to operate AV sources of below brand
GPS: Panasonic 105T, Wonde Proud/ Garmin/ RoadEasy/ FRoad/NECVOX
DVD Player: SANYO/ NECVOX/ JiangHai, FRoad, Panasonic
DVB-T: HiTop/ Eastern/ Panasonic
dont really know wat they meant, but seems u can choose the GPS brands. Gramin will definitely be a good choice.

garmin has a universal gps unit gvn 53 i call it the black box. it should just plug right in to the harness this is awesome you have no idea i've been trying to work on something like this with no luck. heres a link https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?...pID=10573:bow:

I still haven't receive an answer (i also contacted the ebay seller btw). But I did some more digging...
The company that makes this units is based in North Korea. their "english" name is Media Key:

I tried calling him though skype, but it gives me an error and says "try again later".
I'm pretty sure we can get this for around $200.
I also did some googling for their products and it appears that the way the rearview camera works is by tapping the reverse light wire or something; it.

i've found the backup camera for the similar unit. donno if this one has GPS.

Why would a guy from Portugal be selling stuff from Taiwan that is suppose to be made in North Korea? That is the strangest route for an item to be sold. Why are the Taiwanese is not selling it directly? But hey, does he have any customer(s) who bought it and installed it? Is the non MM screen capable of colors?

The non-MM screen is full color, but i'm not sure what the resolution is and how well will it display a video source(camera, dvd, etc)

and the input is in nice collors? With a color box you can put between headunit and display? Come on, make a color box for the 7"and 5"I really dont understand why the didnt make it the same color as the instruments or something like that.

i assumen the guy from Portugal is a distributor of the Taiwan company, the device is made in Taiwan. that device from Korea is different
