Gauging Interest: Intake System
Hey everyone, is anyone interested in a high quality intake system? The system will consist of two polished aluminum pipes running along opposite sides of the engine then connecting at the mass air flow censor. I am going to fabricate one for my car and just wondering it would appeal to anyone else? The only downside is the engine cover will have to be permanently removed.

My only concern would be that metal intakes in that kind of proximity to the engine can suffer from a lot of heat soak and hurt performance. But definitely post some pics after you fabricate!

Sounds like a great idea and could likely look pretty good as long as it's done well. I was just posting about how the filters look to be way to consticted in the stock setup. Let us know how you progess!!
