Cleaning 300 Sports standard wheels
I have washed my car a few times and have yet to find a good way to clean all the little spaces between the spokes on the 300 sports 17" wheel. I have tried a sponge, a lambs wool mit and a soft nylon bristle brush. The brush seems to be the best at getting in the tight spaces but not so good on the outside surface. Anybody find a easier/better cleaning method?

It's never really easy to clean multi-spoke wheels with tight spaces. Take them off, clean and wax them. Initially, you may have to use some spray wheel cleaner. Just make sure you rinse it off within one minute. Use a wash mit for the faces of your wheels. After that, it should be easy to keep them clean by just using car wash soap and water. I have a very soft brush that feels like a California duster. It works well if you don't want to take the wheels off to clean them. I ordered mine, but I think you can get something similar at Target.

Thats funny...I actually looked at a mini California Duster and thought that would be about the perfect size to get into the smaller slots. I will try the Target/Walmart route and see if I can find something that works.

Mothers California Wheels cleaner works great. Clean the wheels per the instructions then clean the car, brake dust just slides right off. Make sure to rinse heavy.

Don't get it on the body I dought it would be good. I used it with no problem on the stock wheels (make sure the brakes are cold), haven't used it on the black wheels as I put a good coat of wax on them before installing and very little dust seems to stick also I think the open design allows it to escape.
