Found this option in utube. Anyone able to get this option work? phone, provider dependent option?

looks like he was just on the telephone menu and just said "SMS" even though it wasnt listed on the screen voice list. interesting

I have a Iphone and just tried it on my C with MM but it kept on saying "cancel"

I saw it on the screen in the middle. I want to know how that works. I don't see that with my phone.

Agreed! BUT I am tired of being almost run off the road half of the time by idiot drivers that are on their cell phone. Do you really have to read your SMS on the MM while you are driving? I guess in theory you could read it when the car is not moving..

Don't you have an equivalent to the Euro option code 386 convenience telephony, meaning UHI/MHI connector at the centre console? With a phone on a cradle you should be able to read/write SMS messages too.

Europeans have SMS support with BT too, but this only works with the BT SAP profile adapter (as opposed to BT HF which is available in the US).
