its actually very hard to get a good deal with an 09. but 08s(if you can find one) you can get $3500 cash rebate from mercedes off msrp as well as an additional discount that you would normally get. plus 08's had a lower base msrp to begin with.
for an 09, i got 500 above invoice

MB must be more aggressive on the pricing, I can walk into a Lexus dealer and drive a way an 09 IS250 for few bucks under invoice (not MSRP.. not sure why there is a confusion on this thread), BMW 3-series, 0.9% APR on the 08 and close to invoice for 09.
If MB keeps this up and refuse to offer more than just 3.9% APR, I bet you will start to see higher inventory by end of Dec and prices will def. fall then.

Price to pay for 08 c350 with zero options
Help !
What should I offer to the dealer for 2008 c350 with zero options. The msrp is $38500. According to the dealer the price is to sell is $33500. I think it should be cheaper . Please let me know what you think.

Not bad as there is less room for them to deal on the car itself vs. the options. I would say that on an 08, you could do a little better. I bought my 08 two months ago and went from 33,510 down to 29,000. Maybe another grand or so would be really sweet. 32,000????

and I've heard the spread between MSRP and invoice is 7%, that's a good rule of thumb to work from.

Great guy. That deal is hard to beat. I have never seen a dealership offer up all the money without even asking for it. This is a sign of the times.

Go to Santa Monica MB and ask for Andrew in fleet sales. I was offered a C350 that was had an MSRP of 46.5k for 40.5k. That is basically the car plus the entire hold back. I never had to ask for a discount he basically said listen i dont do deals where you have to haggle I just show you the invoice, the hold back, and the msrp and you can either take the car home or not.

Yes, no P1. It's hard to find, but I really do not need anything in P1. I was told this c300 just arrived at US in late Oct. when I check the tire, the manufacture date is 34th week this year.
