Question Bluetooth Question (Phonebook)

Whats up guys? I just connected my blackberry to my c300 bluetooth. I was wondering if there is a way to get your phonebook to be linked to the screen? From my experience, the only way to get some of your contacts into the bluetooth in the car is by manually adding each individual contact. Anybody know otherwise or this the only way it can be done? Thanks!

it differs phone by phone and its bluetooth version.
more info on your phone would be nice.

If you don't have a "send addressbook" function, you have to send each contact individually as a vcard over bluetooth.

so the "send addressbook" function should be somewhere on the phone? It is the newest Blackberry curve.

An iphone won't even do that...is there a completely manual way to put contacts in from the keypad on the dash or the controller on a non navi car?

I was trying to figure that out too when i got my c300. it is the send business card function. after you do that you have to reconnect your bluetooth on the blackberry. you should then see it load your phone book.

Put the car into the receive business card mode. On your blackberry, under the bluetooth screen, press the menu button. (Make sure you have the MB Bluetooth highlighted on your blackberry). Select "transfer address book" on your blackberry. It should then transfer all of your contacts over. Let me know if you have any issues and I will try to walk you through it.

Thank you. That's the best explanation. Worked perfectly.

Yep... "Delete External Data" under the telephone menu.
